TEACHMEETICONS - THE HOME OF FREE CPD
TeachMeetIcons Europe is here! On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2019, the city of Ljubljana (and the British International School of Ljubljana) will host you for a special weekend event showcasing the best that Teachmeet Icons has to offer. Prepare for some of the best keynote speakers, amazing subject specific CPD and a unique opportunity to network with educators from the UK and Europe. It's all going to be completely FREE for classroom teachers. This city is so worth it...
The schedule for the weekend will appear here soon, but here are the key event details:
Event dates: Saturday 13th (am) until Sunday 14th (pm) July 2019.
Host city: Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Travel Options from the UK: Easyjet/Whizz Air - London/Ljubljana
Speakers: To be announced. On the Saturday, you will hear from our "main speakers" in a top venue in Ljubljana. The event will cater for both Primary and Secondary teachers. On the Sunday, there will be subject specific strands hosted at BISL (The British International School of Ljubljana). Subjects will include Maths, English, Science, History, Geography and more.
Tickets: Tickets will be FREE for ALL UK classroom teachers (£20 fully refundable deposit on attendance). Tickets will be for the entire weekend. They won't include food/drink, but options will be available to pre order some meals. Corporate tickets will be priced at £50 per person.

Accommodation: We will suggest a number hotels, hostels and bed and breakfast establishments here.
Entertainment: On the Friday night (for early arrivals) and Saturday night there will be plenty of social events/opportunities so you can mix and mingle!
Are you interested in leading a session at the event? We are interested in any subject specialists at primary or secondary level. Session leaders will benefit from extra freebies! Beyond that, TMIcons has a reputation for giving opportunities to teachers, new and experienced, to share their ideas. We are looking for presenters with a teaching and learning focus within a subject domain. If that's you, get in touch! All welcome.
